Below are guidelines for submitting entries.

ENTRY RULES & REGULATIONS

    a) Nominees must be Sri Lankans residing in Canada.

    b) Completely fill out an entry form (download it here OR enter it online here). Entries must be accompanied by a short summary (no more than 70 words) about the nominee and/ or supporting materials, otherwise the entry will be invalid.

    c) Supporting materials should be in English as the judges are non-Sri Lankans. If in another language, a translation must be provided.

        Examples of supporting materials are resume, bio-data, list of achievements and milestones, videos, ads, brochures to name a few. These are welcome although they may not be returned.

    d) For The Sri Lankan Youth of the Year - People`s Choice Award, the judges will select the top five finalists from all the nominations submitted. The finalists will then be posted on the website where everyone from anywhere in the world can vote for the best candidate. Voting will start really soon, so keep checking back often.

Note: "The Sri Lankan Youth of the Year" Award is the only award where the public can vote. For the rest of the 11 categories, the distinguished board of judges will choose the winner from the list of nominees.

    e) You may enter as many entries as you want. There is no limit.
